BOOKINGS AND RESERVATIONS

At the time of making your booking with ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’, we usually take full payment for the first night's bed and breakfast. We may contact you by email or telephone about your booking, to ensure and confirm everything is right for your stay. If you prefer not to be contacted by any particular means, please let us know.

‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ reserve the right to refuse to accept any booking or reservation and to refuse entry to any person or persons without disclosing a reason.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices quoted may be subject to change at any time and without prior notice and are quoted in Pounds Sterling.

All prices are quoted per room per night based on two people sharing a room. A discount of 10% is applicable to single occupancy of a double room Monday – Thursday inclusive. No discount is available for single occupancy of a double room, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

The first night may well be taken on booking or pre-authorised and will be taken prior to check in.

We accept payment by cash or credit/debit card ONLY. We do not accept personal cheques or business cheques.

It is important that you read and understand the terms and conditions our bookings and cancellation policy prior to placing a booking with us, as our policies (including cancellation) may differ from time to time.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Room reservations made directly with ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’, via our website or via the websites of our booking partners are subject to our cancellation terms.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking or in your confirmation, you may cancel your booking up to 5 days before arrival time without charge. Any payment will be refunded. Thereafter, you will be charged (at the owner’s discretion) the full room rate for your booking.

If your booking is cancelled or modified up to 5 days before date of arrival, 100% of the first night will be charged.
If your booking is cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Days are counted from midnight from the day of arrival.

Cancellation of your booking or reservation may be made with ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ either by telephone on +44 (0)1373 836880 or by email – theplacetostayuk@gmail.com. and are subject to these terms and conditions:

Bookings that are made through voucher companies e.g. Smart Box, Buy a Gift, Activity Supastore etc. are non-refundable bookings and full payment will be taken at the time of booking and no refunds will be given if cancelled.

The ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ reserves the right to cancel any booking within seven days of it being made, or later if circumstances beyond our control mean that it is impractical to accommodate a guest and provide our usual standards of service. In the event that a booking is cancelled by ‘The Place To Stay, Frome, all monies paid will be promptly refunded, but no further liability is accepted. Our liability in respect of any accommodation reservation is limited to a refund of the pre-booked value of that reservation.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

Arrival check-in time is normally from 4.00pm to 9.00pm. Earlier check-in times are available from 2 pm at a charge of £10, subject to room availability. If you require a later check-in than 9pm, please call us in advance on +44 (0)1373 836880 to make arrangements. A late check in fee of £10 may be applied at the discretion of the owner.

If you are delayed, please contact us and we can arrange for a late check-in.

Departure check-out time is normally before 10.30am on your last day of staying. A later check-out time to 12.30 pm may be arranged before departure at a small charge of £10.

DOGS POLICY

‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ recognises that dogs are considered part of our guests’ family. We are designated as dog friendly and we welcome dogs and offer one dog-friendly room, Room 5, Oak Tree. We only have space for one dog.

Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times when in the grounds of ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’, must be controlled at all times and must NOT foul the gardens. Please ensure that you and your dog respect the other guests and that you “pick up” after your dog.

There is a dog charge of £15 per dog, per night, and this will be added to the final bill.

If you are wishing to bring your dog, we ask that you call us on +44 (0)1373 836880 before making a booking to check that our one dog-friendly room is available for the duration of your intended visit. Early booking is recommended.

Please be advised that guest dogs are not permitted in any part of the house other than our dog-friendly room. We have lots of walking areas for our dog guests.

GUIDE DOG POLICY

We do accept guide dogs however the guest must occupy our dog friendly Room 5.

DOG LIABILITY

Guests bringing their dogs are liable for their dogs and their behaviour and conduct at all times. ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ will not be responsible for injury, ill health or death of a pet or for any damage or injury caused by a guest’s dog.

EATING IN ROOMS IS NOT ALLOWED

For the comfort of our guests, the eating of ‘fast food’ or ‘takeaway meals’ or any other food is not allowed, other than complimentary biscuits provided by us, in any of our bedrooms, because of lingering smells and cleanliness for other guests.

If you wish to eat whilst staying at ‘The Place To Stay’, we would suggest you use the our garden or the garden area of our Inn, The White Inn, which is located in the village. Please ask the owners who are happy to accommodate where they can.

REASONABLE USAGE OF THE PREMISES AND GROUNDS

‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ promotes a peaceful, quiet and family friendly environment and we request quests respect this policy in their rooms and throughout ALL other areas.

Guests are reminded that the buildings are old and some sounds will travel through walls etc. and we ask that you respect the quiet enjoyment of other guests.

In extreme circumstances and in circumstances, where and when our policies and conditions are broken, we reserve the right to terminate a booking for unacceptable conduct and ask a guest or guests to leave.

LIABILITIES

You must safeguard your own property and possessions at all times and for the duration of your visit.

‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ will not accept any liability for loss of or damage to property or possessions or death or illness of or injury to persons unless caused by the negligence of ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’.

Unless ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ is liable, as referred to above, you will indemnify ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ from and against any and all liability for loss of or damage to property or death or illness of or injury to persons and against any and all claims, costs, demands, proceedings and damages arising there from as a result of the event.

Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ be responsible for any indirect or special damages.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or our property by your act, omission, default or neglect (or that of your dog), and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.

With this respect to our policy of our Trading Terms and Conditions and in particular our policy on Liabilities, you are advised to consider your insurance cover in respect of the above, before your date of your visit and stay.

BODHI TREE TREATMENT CENTRE

The minimum age for all treatments is 16. A Patch test is required 24 hours before any tint treatments. All treatments require pre-payment.

All pamper days are 50% deposit and full payment 7 days prior.

We have a cancellation policy of 72 hours for pamper days or individual treatment bookings or the full amount will be payable.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked treatment time. Treatments which start late will be cut short to avoid causing inconvenience for other guests. All treatment times listed include a small consultation and changing time.

We use a range of Decleor products in order to deliver a first-class treatment experience. Should you have any questions related to specific product type, brand or suitability please do not hesitate to contact us.

NON-SMOKING POLICY

For the comfort of our guests, ALL bedrooms and public areas of ‘The Place To Stay, Frome’ are totally non-smoking, including the use of E-cigarettes. We have one area in the garden for smoking and request that you remain in that area.

FREE WIFI USAGE

Free Wifi is only available in the public rooms. Its use is subject to certain conditions and a reasonable use policy which forbids the downloading and viewing of pornography, violent and illegal material. Mobile 4G is available throughout the property and in the all the rooms.

We request guest use all free WIFI and 4G mobile appliances and other appliances in a quiet and considerate way that does not disturb or annoy other guests.
